LA COMISIÓN EUROPEA,

Visto el Tratado de Funcionamiento de la Unión Europea,

Visto el Reglamento (CE) n o 2368/2002 del Consejo, de 20 de diciembre de 2002, por el que se aplica el sistema de certificación del proceso de Kimberley para el comercio internacional de diamantes en bruto ( 1 ), y, en particular, su artículo 20,

Considerando lo siguiente:

(1) En la reunión plenaria celebrada en Jerusalén en noviembre de 2010, los participantes en el Proceso de Kimberley aprobaron provisionalmente, por decisión del Pleno, la adición de Suazilandia a la lista de participantes en dicho Proceso, aprobación que deberá ser confirmada mediante una nota de su Presidente, una vez resueltas determinadas cuestiones pendientes.

(2) La Presidencia del Proceso de Kimberley confirmó, mediante una nota publicada el 30 de mayo de 2011, que se ha admitido la participación de Swazilandia en el Proceso.

(3) Procede modificar en consecuencia el anexo II del Reglamento (CE) n o 2368/2002.

HA ADOPTADO EL PRESENTE REGLAMENTO:

Artículo 1

El texto del anexo II del Reglamento (CE) n o 2368/2002 se sustituye por el que figura en el anexo del presente Reglamento.

Artículo 2

El presente Reglamento entrará en vigor el día siguiente al de su publicación en el Diario Oficial de la Unión Europea.

El presente Reglamento será obligatorio en todos sus elementos y directamente aplicable en cada Estado miembro.
